Christopher Benn 

Technical Advisor (Geochemist) Christopher (Chris) Benn is a geochemist with over 40 years of experience in mineral exploration, spanning a wide range of commodities and geographic regions. Chris spent 27 years with BHP, serving as Chief Geochemist from 2006 to 2009, after which he held the role of Chief Geochemist at Gold Fields from 2009 to 2014. Following his tenure at Gold Fields, he has worked as a consultant for a number of major and junior exploration companies.

Frederick T. Graybeal, Ph.D. 

Technical Advisor (Geologist) Dr. Frederick (Fred) T. Graybeal has 60 years of experience in mineral exploration, mining geology, resource estimates, and environmental initiatives worldwide. His principal expertise is in Cordilleran base and precious metal and orogenic gold environments, with extensive experience in early-stage exploration programs. Fred spent most of his career with Asarco, including serving as Chief Geologist in Asarco’s New York office where he directed seven regional exploration offices. He retired in 2003 after contributing to various grassroots and near-mine discoveries and continues to consult for mineral exploration and natural resource investment groups.

Brice Lacroix, Ph.D., P.Geo. 

Technical Advisor (Structural Geologist) Dr. Brice Lacroix is a structural and exploration geologist with over 18 years of experience specializing in applied structural geology for mineral exploration, with a particular focus on orogenic gold systems. He has extensive experience working on complex deposits across Europe, East Africa, and North and South America. Brice’s expertise lies in characterizing geological structures, deformation patterns, and mineralization processes by integrating field observations with geophysical, geochemical, and drilling data. In addition to his advisory role, Brice serves as an Associate Professor at Kansas State University (U.S.), where he teaches courses in mineral exploration and directs the university’s graduate program in Mineral Exploration.

Ross Sherlock, Ph.D., P.Geo.

Technical Advisor (Geologist) Dr. Ross Sherlock is a professional geologist with over 35 years of experience in the mining industry. His career spans junior and senior mining companies, consulting roles, and government surveys, with extensive work both nationally and internationally. Most recently, Ross served as Vice President, Geoscience at Kinross Gold Corporation and as Exploration Manager, North America at Gold Fields. He joined the Harquail School of Earth Sciences at Laurentian University (Canada) in 2017 as a Research Chair and Director of the Mineral Exploration Research Center (MERC), where he collaborates extensively on industry leading multidisciplinary research projects on ore deposits.

John Wakeford, P.Geo.

Technical Advisor (Geologist) John Wakeford is a geologist with over 45 years of experience in gold exploration and project development. He has worked extensively across North America, with additional experience in South America, Africa, Eastern Europe, Australia and Indonesia. Over his career, John has held roles ranging from exploration geologist to Vice President and has served on multiple corporate boards. His experience spans a wide range of companies, including Noranda Exploration, Hemlo Gold Mines, Battle Mountain Gold Mines, Miramar Mining Corp., and Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. He has played key roles in a number of discoveries and major resource increases, including Holloway Gold Mine, Miramar’s Hope Bay Project and Sabina’s Back River Project.
