TECHNICAL TEAM

Timothy  Stubley, Geologist

Senior Manager, Exploration Timothy (Tim) Stubley is a geologist and project manager with 14 years of experience in mineral exploration. Over his career, he has worked on projects spanning gold, copper, nickel, iron ore, and diamonds in some of the world’s most geologically rich regions. Most recently, he oversaw more than 150,000 meters of diamond drilling, helping to define a 5.6-million-ounce gold resource at the Kerr-Addison Mine Project and contributing to the discovery of a significant 2.9-million-tonne nickel sulphide deposit. He brings to Greenheart Gold Inc. a strong background in hands-on exploration, a focus on creating real value through discovery, and a proven commitment to safe, efficient field operations. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geology from the University of Tasmania in Australia and an M.Sc. in Applied Mineral Exploration from Laurentian University in Canada.

Matthew Eckfelt, M.Sc., P.Geo.

Chief Geologist Matthew Eckfeldt is a geochemist and exploration geologist with 18 years of experience in mineral exploration, with a focus on orogenic gold and porphyry systems. His career spans North America and the Guiana Shield, where he has contributed to both grassroots exploration and major gold discoveries. Mr. Eckfeldt has worked as North American Geochemist for Gold Fields, as Senior Geologist at the Kerr-Addison Mine Project, and later joined Reunion Gold Corporation in 2018 as Principal Geologist and Geochemist, where he was part of the team behind the 5.9-million-ounce Oko West gold discovery. He holds a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Calgary and an M.Sc. M.Sc. in applied mineral exploration from Laurentian University in Canada. He is a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) licensed in the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and a member of the Association of Applied Geochemists.

Nicolas Estrada, Geologist

Exploration Manager, Suriname Nicolas Estrada is an exploration geologist with experience in gold and critical metal exploration across the Guiana Shield and North America. Prior to joining Greenheart Gold Inc., Mr. Estrada held technical roles in both junior exploration and geophysical service companies, contributing to projects spanning early-stage prospecting and advanced geological modelling. Early in his career, he worked for Reunion Gold Corporation, where he was part of the team involved in the discovery of the Oko West gold deposit. His work has focused on core logging, geological interpretation, and 3D model development for projects in the Guiana Shield. Mr. Estrada holds a B.Sc. in Geology from EAFIT University (Universidad EAFIT) in Colombia and at Laurentian University in Canada he was part of the Metal Earth research group.
